The Strategic Management event at Asthra is designed to challenge participants to think beyond operational decisions and focus on long-term value creation. The event provides a competitive platform where students apply strategic frameworks, analytical tools, and business insight to solve complex organizational problems.  The event attracts sharp strategic thinkers who aspire to lead organizations, navigate complexity, and drive sustainable growth in a highly competitive environment.

Event Guidelines

• IMPORTANT - The participants should manadtorily read the handbook available HERE

• Each team must consist of a maximum of 4 members, all belonging to the same college.

• It’s ideal to have one participant from each specialization: HR, Marketing, Operations, and Finance in each team.

• Any number of teams per college will be allowed to participate.

• All participants must carry their college ID card or an authorization letter from their institution.

• Teams must report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time and be dressed appropriately for the event.

• The event coordinators will outline the rules and regulations for each round, and participants must follow them.

• Each team member is required to bring their own laptop. Wi-fi will be provided but be ready with backup internet connectivity. The organizers will not be responsible for any technical issues.

• Participants must adhere strictly to the event schedule and arrive before the start of the rounds or briefing session; failure to do so will result in disqualification.

• Mobile phones and smart watches are not allowed during the event unless explicitly permitted by the coordinators for any particular round.

• Winners will be determined based on the cumulative scores.

• The decisions of the judges and event organizers are final and binding.

• Any queries or clarifications about the event should be addressed before the commencement of the game.

• Any form of unfair or unethical behaviour, rule violations, or use of offensive language will result in the disqualification of the entire team from that round.
